Innovation around Mental Health in Rehabilitative Care

Please provide your feedback: :

People living with limb loss or limb difference could greatly benefit from mental health being a core component of rehabilitative care. Levels of depression and anxiety are significantly higher among people living with limb loss following trauma when compared to the general population, and we need data on long-term mental health outcomes (Mckechnie Injury 2014). This community also identifies a need for mental health services, and there are indications that this need is largely unmet (Archer Arch Phys Med Rehabilitations 2010). How can we innovate around mental health as a core component of rehabilitation, from post-surgery for people with limb loss, to living the best life possible?
